Chirag Patel joins Globalstar as Director of Product Management

Globalstar has invested in its satellite IoT business with Haight and Patel as new hires.

Chirag Patel has joined Globalstar as Director of Product Management, a newly created role.

In his new role, Patel will report to Dave Haight, vice president of IoT, who joined Globalstar from AT&T earlier this year.

Patel will lead the company’s vision, strategy, roadmap and product go-to-market for Industrial IoT products, services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.

He joins Globalstar from Carrier where he led the launch of Lynx Fleet at Carrier – an end-to-end IoT solution that monitored and managed over one million temperature-controlled trucks, trailers and containers carrying fresh food and pharmaceuticals. in the world.

Prior to Carrier, Patel led and pioneered the digitization of Verizon’s mobile device management platform: ThingSpace. He also launched an online marketplace for customers to easily purchase products and services.

In a start-up, Enfora, Patel launched multiple cellular modems, mobile tracking, asset tracking products and a SaaS platform for the transportation industry.
